Mansfield & Mayo is seeking a Civil Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our growing practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable managing a broad range of civil matters including litigation, transactions, and estate planning from start to finish.
We are looking for a high-performing, client-focused attorney who can work independently while also thriving within a collaborative and team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do
Handle civil matters at all stages of a case, including primary responsibility for assigned matters
Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery, contracts, and legal memoranda with minimal supervision
Appear in court, conduct depositions, engage experts, and communicate directly with clients
Draft, review, and advise clients on transactional and estate planning documents
Collaborate with attorneys across the firm to develop legal strategies and resolve complex issues
Deliver thoughtful, practical, and client-focused legal solutions
What We’re Looking For
For Northern Nevada: Active Nevada bar license required
For Eagle, Boise, and Meridian, Idaho: Active Idaho bar license required
Minimum of 2 years of civil experience, including litigation experience in state or federal court
Ability to independently manage cases, deadlines, strategy, and client communication
Strong drafting, analytical, research, and organizational skills
Sound professional judgment and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
